Jaipur, June 2 (NationPress) The BJP is preparing to initiate a nationwide initiative named “Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak” from June 9 to celebrate 11 years of Prime Minister Modi's unwavering commitment to development, good governance, and uplifting the underprivileged.
The initiative will also feature activities commemorating the 50th anniversary of the 1975 Emergency, which BJP representatives have described as a “dark chapter” in India’s democratic narrative.
A state-level workshop took place at the BJP state headquarters on Monday, where Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and BJP Rajasthan chief Madan Rathore addressed party members and discussed the forthcoming events scheduled from June 5 to June 25.
“Under PM Modi's guidance, India has acquired a new and esteemed position on the international platform. Prior to 2014, our nation was struggling with terrorism, corruption, and political appeasement. Since then, the Modi administration has initiated transformative advancements across various sectors,” he stated.
Sharma highlighted essential programs, noting that initiatives such as the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, PM Crop Insurance Scheme, Ujjwala Yojana, Housing Scheme, Jal Jeevan Mission, and Food Security Scheme have had a direct positive impact on the average citizen.
He pointed out the substantial enhancement in national defense and foreign relations, particularly after significant terrorist incidents.
“In 2014, India’s economy was ranked 11th globally. Today, thanks to solid leadership and effective policies, we are now the 4th largest economy. Swami Vivekananda envisioned the 21st century as India's age, and Narendra Modi is fulfilling that dream,” Sharma added.
The Chief Minister stressed the vital role of each BJP booth-level worker in disseminating information regarding the central government's policies and the effects of the double-engine government in Rajasthan.
According to the campaign timetable, June 5 will be recognized as Environment Day. Party workers will engage in the Vande Ganga Jal Sanrakshan Jan Abhiyan, concentrating on water source recharging and rainwater harvesting through village-level planning and Bhamasha contributions.
The “Sankalp Se Siddhi Tak” campaign will proceed from June 9 to 21 to promote the inclusive policies of the PM Modi government. On June 21, participants will partake in World Yoga Day celebrations.
On June 23, seminars and workshops will be organized to honor the martyrdom of Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
On June 25, public awareness activities will address the 50th anniversary of the Emergency, stressing its repercussions on democracy.
Chief Minister Sharma reaffirmed the BJP’s dedication to operating with a “Nation First” ethos. He attributed the BJP’s organizational strength to its cadre-based model that fosters new leadership and upholds principles of social responsibility.
Madan Rathore remarked: “In 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi vowed to create a new India, and over the course of 11 years, those promises have been realized. Whether in economic, social, or cultural transformation, the outcomes are evident in every domain. The distinction between pre-2014 and post-2014 India is unmistakable.”
He emphasized the global recognition PM Modi has received, including prestigious awards from over 21 countries, signifying India’s escalating prominence on the world stage.
Rathore also urged party members to inform the public about the grim legacy of the 1975 Emergency.
“On June 25, 1975, Congress enforced an Emergency to stifle democracy, imprison innocent individuals, and dissolve elected governments. We must ensure this dark chapter is never forgotten,” he remarked.
