Raebareli, Sep 10 (NationPress) During his two-day visit to his parliamentary constituency Raebareli, Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, launched a renewed assault on the BJP on Wednesday. He claimed that BJP leaders are "upset and alarmed" following the revelation of what he termed as widespread "vote theft" in the latest elections.
While addressing his supporters, Gandhi remarked that the Congress battle cry "Vote chor, gaddi chhod" (vote thieves, relinquish power) is echoing throughout the nation.

He accused the ruling party of obstructing opportunities for disadvantaged and marginalized communities.
"Be it corporate India, the bureaucracy, or the government — ninety percent of Indians are being prevented from participating. Name even one owner of a significant hospital who hails from the OBC community. You won’t find one," he added, stating that the rights and land of marginalized groups are being seized.
On the subject of the caste census, Gandhi noted: "The Prime Minister himself belongs to the OBC category, yet he remains mute regarding the caste census," adding that the Prajapati community, which is estimated to have a population of nine crore, has been excluded from mainstream history.
In another event, Gandhi reaffirmed his allegations of electoral fraud, asserting that "while people previously suspected foul play, now there is undeniable evidence — votes are being pilfered."
He accused the Election Commission of behaving in a "authoritarian" manner and warned that the democratic rights of citizens are under siege.
"Elections are being compromised, and the populace is being deprived of their rights," Gandhi proclaimed, asserting that Congress activists are "lions" dedicated to defending the Constitution.
