Agartala, Feb 20 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Tripura and former BJP state leader, Manik Saha, remarked on Thursday that the party's victories across numerous states stem from Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dedicated efforts aimed at improving the lives of the underprivileged, youth, women, and farmers.

Saha, who has been in Delhi since the previous week and was present at the oath-taking ceremony for Delhi's new Chief Minister, Rekha Gupta, and her ministers, noted that after a gap of 27 years, the BJP has assumed power in the national capital.

“Delhi symbolizes the heart of the nation, and it has been won by the BJP,” stated Saha, a former Rajya Sabha member who became Tripura's Chief Minister in May 2022.

He emphasized that the BJP continues to secure victories in state elections, attributing this success to Modi’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the underprivileged, youth, women, and farmers.

“Modi is solely focused on the comprehensive development of India and its protection. I am confident that this success will empower us further, leading to greater advancements in Delhi in the future,” Saha expressed.

Additionally, he remarked: “I extend my congratulations to the newly appointed Chief Minister of Delhi, Rekha Gupta, and her entire team. They will strive for Delhi's improvement under PM Modi’s guidance, fulfilling his mission and vision.”

The Tripura Chief Minister also expressed gratitude to the residents of Delhi for selecting the BJP and rejecting the corrupt Aam Aadmi Party administration.

“We anticipated this outcome and I had foreseen it. The AAP government was embroiled in corruption, and the public is well aware of it, which is why we expected this result,” Saha informed the media.
