Chennai, May 24 (NationPress) The president of the Tamil Nadu BJP, Nainar Nagenthran, urged Chief Minister M.K. Stalin to enhance a cooperative rapport with the Union government to facilitate the successful execution of welfare schemes and to secure vital funding for the state.
During a press briefing in Chennai, Nagenthran made these statements while addressing inquiries concerning Chief Minister Stalin's attendance at the 10th Governing Council meeting of the NITI Aayog, which took place in New Delhi.
“It was unfortunate and regrettable that he [Stalin] did not attend last year’s meeting,” Nagenthran remarked, referring to the Chief Minister’s absence from the previous council meeting in 2024.
“However, his decision to participate this year is indeed a positive step,” he added.
