Jaipur, April 14 (NationPress) Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, and Rajasthan's Alwar MP, Bhupender Yadav, spoke to the nation’s youth on Monday, emphasizing that respect should be conveyed through books.

“Respect should be given through books, not garlands. While garlands fade, books endure and light the way to a brighter future for our children,” stated the Union Minister during the ‘MP Sampark Samvad Yatra’ in the Alwar parliamentary constituency.

The minister highlighted that youth are the cornerstone of the nation’s future, and it is a shared responsibility of society to create opportunities for them.

He revealed plans to set up e-libraries in every Gram Panchayat throughout Alwar to ensure rural youth have access to digital education.

Addressing the significance of rural sports, the minister noted that sports festivals were once a distant dream for boys and girls from rural areas.

“These platforms provide us with valuable opportunities to demonstrate and develop our talents,” he remarked.

Emphasizing health initiatives, he mentioned that 71 Gram Panchayats in Khairthal-Tijara district have been recognized as TB-free under the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Gram Panchayat Yojana.

He pointed out that TB patients receive Rs 1,000 monthly in direct benefit transfers for nutritional support, along with specialized nutrition kits.

In a significant move towards environmental preservation, the Union Minister distributed 11 saplings to each Gram Panchayat and encouraged villagers to plant an additional 100 saplings in their communities.

He announced the creation of nurseries in every Gram Panchayat, with two workers to be hired under MNREGA for their maintenance.

Additionally, he inaugurated a pipeline project for wastewater drainage in village Manka, representing progress in enhancing local sanitation infrastructure.

The MP Sampark Samvad Yatra continues to forge connections between governance and grassroots development, intertwining environmental consciousness, digital empowerment, and public welfare in a comprehensive approach.
