New Delhi, May 29 (NationPress) As Prime Minister Narendra Modi marks 11 years in office, numerous BJP leaders on Thursday lauded his leadership, deeming his time as a transformative era that has catapulted India "1100 years ahead."
BJP officials nationwide reflected on the significant achievements of PM Modi's governance, highlighting a blend of economic progress, enhanced global status, national security, and welfare initiatives as essential elements of what they termed a "historic journey" under his guidance.
On May 26, 2014, Narendra Modi took the oath of office as Prime Minister, concluding a three-decade-long period of coalition governance and initiating a new phase of robust central leadership. His ascension to a third consecutive term is celebrated by party members as a testament to the unwavering trust of the populace in his vision.
Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak remarked to IANS, "It’s a landmark moment as Prime Minister Modi completes 11 years in power. Today, India stands as the fourth-largest economy globally, now ranked alongside formidable nations like the US, Russia, and China."
He further stated, "This progress is attributed to PM Modi’s Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India initiatives. From the outset, he prioritized poverty alleviation. Millions have gained access to homes, clean water, sanitation, and the dignity of basic needs. Over these 11 years, PM Modi has effectively advanced India 1100 years ahead."
Anil Kumar, a Cabinet Minister in Uttar Pradesh, echoed this perspective, asserting that Modi's leadership has not only revamped India domestically but also enhanced its global profile.
"From the central to state levels, the NDA's journey since 2014 has been a triumph. The populace has granted us a third term with a decisive majority—a rarity in a democracy of this magnitude. This alone speaks volumes about the faith invested in PM Modi," he noted.
He added, "Governments are being formed with support from all communities, showcasing a socially inclusive governance model. Whatever challenges lie ahead, the NDA is dedicated to addressing them with vigor and resolve."
BJP MLC Shashil Namoshi from Karnataka commended PM Modi for empowering the common citizen through initiatives like Jan Dhan Yojana, which has integrated millions into the banking framework.
"On behalf of all citizens of Karnataka and the nation, I extend my congratulations to Prime Minister Modi on completing 11 years. The Jan Dhan Yojana exemplifies his commitment to grassroots empowerment. Previously, subsidies disappeared in the system, but now beneficiaries receive funds directly," he remarked.
He also credited PM Modi for enhancing India’s international stature, noting, "The Prime Minister is held in high regard worldwide. His popularity extends beyond India, resonating globally."
BJP leader and MP from Khandwa, Gyaneswar Patil, emphasized PM Modi’s dedication to self-reliance and development.
"Under Modi’s guidance, India has crafted its own identity on the world stage. The push for self-reliance has diminished our reliance on imports and bolstered domestic industries. Every sector, from welfare to infrastructure and defense, has experienced remarkable growth," Patil stated.
Senior BJP leader Daya Shankar Singh described PM Modi as a relentless worker.
"PM Modi has devoted every moment to advancing the nation. His governance has amplified India's honor and self-respect internationally. His popularity transcends borders, and under his leadership, India is perceived as a rising power. His 11-year tenure is indeed historic," Singh declared.
BJP leader Rakesh Kumar Goswami praised PM Modi’s assertive leadership style, suggesting it has altered the global perception of India.
"In the past, our leaders occupied the back rows at international gatherings. Today, India stands at the forefront. PM Modi engages with global powers eye to eye," he asserted.
He continued, "Our GDP is now the fourth largest in the world, with ambitions to become the third-largest economy by 2027. From industry to space and defense, India has made strides in every sector. We have witnessed bold initiatives like the abrogation of Article 370, the crackdown on Triple Talaq, and military operations like Operation Sindoor and surgical strikes—all executed during PM Modi’s watch."
