Mumbai, April 22 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Vishnu Deo Sai, is set for a two-day visit to Mumbai starting Wednesday, where he will engage in two prominent national events, namely the CMAI Fab Show and India Steel 2025.
At these gatherings, he will unveil Chhattisgarh's latest industrial policy, emphasizing the state's investment capabilities and infrastructure vision to esteemed industrialists and policymakers from across India.
As stated by the Chhattisgarh Chief Minister’s office, CM Sai will participate in the Fab Show on April 23, hosted by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI). This annual event unites leaders in garment manufacturing, exporting, and branding. The Chief Minister will spotlight the incentives and prospects available for the textile sector under Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy. Numerous leading companies are anticipated to sign MoUs for investments in the state during this occasion.
On April 24, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the 'India Steel 2025' event via video link. CM Sai will also speak at the inaugural session as the Chief Guest. Here, he will outline the key features of Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy, the readiness of infrastructure for the steel industry, and the state's vision for long-term development.
On the same day, a Chhattisgarh Roundtable Meeting will occur, where the CM will hold direct discussions with prospective investors. The dialogue will center around specially developed industrial clusters for the steel sector, logistics infrastructure, single-window clearances, and policies friendly to labor.
CM Sai will also tour the Chhattisgarh State Pavilion at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. This pavilion aims to display the state’s solid industrial infrastructure, business-friendly atmosphere, and emerging investment prospects, targeting both national and international investors.
This marks CM Sai’s second trip to the financial hub of the country since January. During his previous visit, Chhattisgarh secured investments totaling Rs 6,000 crore across multiple sectors, including plastic, textile, cement, IT, and food processing. He informed investors that since the inception of the new industrial policy last year, the state had drawn investments amounting to Rs one lakh crore. He assured potential investors that the process for no-objection certificates had been optimized, and clearances are now handled through a single window system.
