Noida, April 13 (NationPress) In response to the escalating industrial unrest and increasing labour-management conflicts in the Gautam Buddha Nagar region, the Uttar Pradesh government has established a high-level committee aimed at tackling these challenges and reinstating normalcy. This initiative seeks to foster a constructive dialogue amongst all involved parties to ensure lasting industrial peace.

This decision follows a surge in worker dissatisfaction regarding issues such as insufficient wages, long working hours, and reported inadequacies in workplace facilities. Recently, numerous protests and demonstrations have been observed across the industrial sectors of Gautam Buddha Nagar, including Noida, causing significant disruptions in production and affecting the daily lives of local residents.

As per official reports, the committee will be chaired by the Industrial Development Commissioner and will incorporate key members, including the Additional Chief Secretary from the MSME Department and the Principal Secretary from the Labour and Employment Department. An officer designated from Kanpur will serve as the Member Secretary to facilitate coordination and ensure the effective execution of decisions made.

To guarantee a fair and inclusive methodology, the committee also includes representatives from both labour groups and industry sectors. Five members from recognized labour unions and three representatives from industrial associations have been included, creating a balanced platform for voicing and addressing all concerns.

Sources indicate that the committee has already arrived in Gautam Buddha Nagar and has commenced its inquiry as a priority. It is set to conduct a series of meetings with workers, management representatives, and local administrative officials to thoroughly understand the issues at play. The emphasis will be on identifying the underlying causes of disputes and suggesting practical, time-bound resolutions.

The committee is anticipated to present its comprehensive report to the state government shortly, detailing both immediate and long-term recommendations. Officials express optimism that this intervention will ease tensions, restore smooth industrial operations, and avert further disruptions.

The administration holds that this proactive measure will not only address the current impasse but also pave the way for stronger labour-management relations in the future, promoting sustained industrial growth and stability in the region.
