Chandigarh, Oct 4 (NationPress) Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini emphasized on Saturday that current development initiatives in the Gram Panchayats should be executed in a systematic manner and completed within the allotted timeframe.
He urged officials to ensure that the benefits of public welfare schemes effectively reach every qualified individual at the grassroots level. To facilitate this, he mandated a review of development work progress every 15 days.
During a review meeting with government officials, the Chief Minister instructed that Gram Sabha meetings should be organized in Gram Panchayats to accelerate the regularization of unauthorized constructions on Shamlat land up to 500 square yards.
He also called for announcements in Gram Panchayats to raise awareness among eligible beneficiaries.
The Chief Minister further stated that Gram Sabha meetings should take place in the next three weeks to ensure the prompt resolution of cases under this scheme, with registrations for approved cases finalized without delay in districts where approvals have been granted.
He directed that beneficiaries issued Adhikar Patra under the Mukhyamantri Gramin Awas Yojana 2.0 must complete their registrations within the next month.
He instructed the organization of separate camps under the Swamitva Yojana to correct errors, validate maps, and submit a detailed report to the Financial Commissioner (Revenue).
While reviewing the use of grants allocated to Zila Parishads through the State Finance Commission over the last four years, the Chief Minister stated that development activities must be prioritized and completed within the designated timeframe.
He urged officials to achieve 100% utilization of available funds and enhance monitoring through Panchayat Samiti meetings, which should occur every two months.
CM Saini stressed the importance of officials collaborating closely with other departments to ensure timely completion of various development projects and schemes. He insisted on maintaining the quality of all development work and conducting regular inspections of construction materials.
Regarding the Swachh Bharat Mission (Rural) Solid Waste Management Sheds, the Chief Minister directed districts with pending projects to devise a plan and complete them promptly.
He also encouraged the districts of Faridabad, Gurugram, Jhajjar, and Palwal to develop one project each under the Gobar Dhan Yojana and submit these proposals to headquarters.
