The purpose of this event is to promote Lord Mahavir's enduring message of non-violence, truth, compassion, morality, and peace throughout society.

The gathering will feature the esteemed presence of Rashtra Sant Paramacharya Shri 108 Pragya Sagar Ji Muniraj, who will provide a special discourse on the life, teachings, and principles of Lord Mahavir, Gupta added.

The Bhagwan Mahavir Nirvana Mahotsav Samiti and Sakal Jain Samaj Delhi are coordinating the elaborate festivities.

A special Vatsalya Bhoj (community meal) will follow the event.

Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Deputy Speaker Mohan Singh Bisht, and members of the Jain community are anticipated to join this spiritual and cultural event, as stated.

On Thursday, the Speaker revealed initiatives to decrease the Assembly's carbon footprint through a transition to 100 percent solar energy.

He outlined a goal of 100 days to enhance the Assembly's solar power generation capacity from 200 KW to 600 KW.

"Currently, there are two solar power plants with a capacity of 100 KW each. Our total energy requirement is approximately 600 KW, and so the installed capacity will be increased to meet our energy demands via solar power. These plants will be established on rooftops and vacant spaces," he stated.

The Speaker also declared the Assembly's intention to become paperless. "We have initiated the process of implementing the National eVidhan Application (NeVA) in the Delhi Assembly," he mentioned.

He noted that in addition to modules for legislators and officials, the Assembly may also create a media desk in each state legislature.

"Initially, we will establish 25 computers with internet and printing capabilities for media personnel to facilitate quicker news dissemination," he added.
