New Delhi, June 29 (NationPress) Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday for being the voice of the citizens through his radio program 'Mann Ki Baat', which highlights social heroes among the populace.
After tuning into the 123rd episode of PM Modi's show, Sachdeva remarked, "The Prime Minister's Mann Ki Baat is genuinely the voice of the citizens. He offers detailed insights on various subjects, introduces fresh topics, and shines a light on issues that often evade public attention..."
Sachdeva listened to the broadcast at Hauz Khas market alongside BJP National Vice President Baijayant Jay Panda and MLA Satish Upadhyay.
The Delhi BJP leader noted, "Today, PM Modi spoke about International Yoga Day, Indian astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla, the rising popularity of football in Bodoland, and Pune's environmental advocate Ramesh Kharmale."
"I encourage every citizen to listen to 'Mann Ki Baat' and discuss it with their families," he added.
Delhi Chief Minister Gupta also shared a message on the social media platform of the Chief Minister's Office regarding the radio show, stating: "Across India, individuals and communities are becoming agents of change. Their steadfast commitment to preservation is not only safeguarding nature but also securing a sustainable future for generations ahead. #MannKiBaat"
Former MP and BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri remarked that the BJP adheres to a nation-building philosophy, with PM Modi spearheading this initiative.
"Former PM Atal Bihari Vajpayee also embraced this ideology and initiated programs for river linking, road construction, and establishing AIIMS. In the last decade, the Congress has failed to accomplish anything significant. Now, PM Modi is diligently working to meet the aspirations of 140 crore citizens, delivering what they deserve," Bidhuri stated.
The 'Mann Ki Baat' program brings attention to those who contribute positively to society, he mentioned.
"Individuals dedicated to public welfare and social good are highlighted in the show—whether it involves water conservation, environmental efforts, services for the disabled, or youth initiatives," Bidhuri noted.
He emphasized that PM Modi's program features stories of social performers residing in remote regions, aiming to inspire others to follow suit and serve the country and its communities.
