Mumbai, Nov 12 (NationPress) Shiv Sena Uddhav (UBT) expressed on Wednesday that the recent bomb blast in Delhi has left the nation in shock, accusing the central government of its failure to eliminate terrorism and adequately prioritize national security.
In its editorial within 'Saamana', the party urged BJP members and supporters to push for the resignation of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, stating, "This would be a service to the nation. If the home minister quits, it would benefit 140 crore citizens; otherwise, cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru will suffer from bloodshed," the editorial cautioned.
The Thackeray faction criticized the Home Minister, noting that in his presence, "the blood of 26 women was shed in Pahalgam, an explosion occurred right before him, and the Red Fort trembled, yet he remains focused on meetings with police and security forces. The Delhi bomb blast has raised serious concerns for the country."
The party pointed out that while Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivers speeches against terrorism from the historical Red Fort, terrorists continue to detonate bombs nearby. “As Delhi reeled from the blast, the entire cabinet, including the Prime Minister and Home Minister, was preoccupied with campaigning for the Bihar elections. The Prime Minister even traveled to Bhutan, where he proclaimed, 'No one will escape justice'. Twelve individuals have lost their lives in the blast, with 25 others injured. People are being slaughtered like ants on Delhi's streets, while the government concentrates on election campaigning,” they remarked.
