Bengaluru, Nov 11 (NationPress) Following the car explosion near Delhi's Red Fort on Monday, security measures have been significantly tightened across key public areas and vital installations in Bengaluru and the coastal Karwar district of Karnataka.
Enhanced security is evident at railway stations, bus terminals, the airport, metro stations, shopping malls, business centers, and other critical facilities.
The Bengaluru city police have issued a high alert across the city as a precautionary step.
Officers are mandated to maintain stringent surveillance and to conduct ongoing monitoring.
Barricades have been established on major roads, and comprehensive vehicle inspections have been initiated since midnight Monday to enhance security preparedness.
Additional police forces have been deployed to identify and verify any suspicious individuals or activities.
In the wake of the Delhi blast, the Bengaluru City Police has urged the public to stay calm, assist security personnel during checks, and swiftly report any unusual or suspicious behavior.
A high alert is also in effect in the Karwar district, which houses important defense facilities, including the Kadamba Naval Base and the Kaiga Nuclear Power Station in Karnataka.

“Passengers are urged to arrive early for their scheduled departures and to cooperate with security personnel during the checking process. The safety and security of our passengers and airport staff remain our highest priority,” the airport authorities remarked.
