New Delhi, Feb 8 (NationPress) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has expressed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi serves as her most significant inspiration in her mission to serve the people. She highlighted that his work ethic and energy consistently inspire her to strive for excellence.

During an event commemorating the first anniversary of the BJP-led Delhi government, the Chief Minister shared a report card with the residents of her Shalimar Bagh constituency, showcasing projects worth Rs 250 crore that have been initiated in the past year.

While unveiling multiple public welfare initiatives at the District Park in Pitampura, she characterized the establishment of a BJP government in Delhi in 2025, after 27 years, as a triumph of public aspirations.

She became emotional, referring to the area's residents as her family, stating that her identity will always be that of “a sister, a daughter, and a neighbor,” regardless of her position as Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister pointed out that effective collaboration between the Central and Delhi governments, paired with a robust financial strategy, has propelled infrastructure growth in the capital.

Reiterating her dedication to launching new schemes and accelerating development in the future, she proclaimed that the journey has only just begun.

Chief Minister Gupta stressed that this journey transcends mere development schemes; it is a united effort fueled by public confidence, the commitment of party members, and a shared determination.

She asserted that the mandate supporting the BJP signifies not just a change in governance but a significant shift towards development.

In her constituency report card, she indicated that development projects worth nearly Rs 250 crore have been initiated or completed in the Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency alone, while large-scale initiatives totaling several thousand crore rupees are in progress.

She also outlined upcoming projects, including the proposed Rs 5,000 crore elevated road along the Munak Canal, beautification of canal sides, Chhath ghats, a modern auditorium, model schools, new community halls, an expanded Ayurvedic hospital, upgraded mother-and-child care centers, and new sports complexes, describing them as historic measures for future generations.

Additionally, she highlighted the extensive improvement of roads, drainage systems, street lighting, parks, and markets, emphasizing development that genuinely impacts every household.

By referencing flyovers, road expansions, Metro growth, and the large fleet of electric buses, she indicated that Delhi is progressively advancing towards a modern, clean, and environmentally sustainable future.
