To celebrate the Prime Minister’s birthday, the Delhi government is initiating the 'Seva Pakhwada' (Fortnight of Service), a two-week campaign from September 17 to October 2, aimed at enhancing public welfare initiatives and developmental projects across the capital.
As part of the inaugural activities, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will launch 15 significant projects during a special ceremony at Thyagraj Stadium. Key facilities being unveiled include the Atal Drishti Girls’ Hostel for visually impaired students, the Atal Asha Home for individuals with intellectual disabilities, and the Savitribai Phule Senior Citizens’ Home.
Commenting on the launch, CM Gupta stated, “On this special occasion of our honorable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji's birthday, Union Home Minister Shri @AmitShah ji will be here to steer Delhi toward a new direction of development.”
She also emphasized the Delhi government’s dedication to creating a ‘Viksit Delhi’ and is diligently working to fulfill promises made to marginalized and overlooked communities. Throughout the 15-day campaign, 75 projects worth crores will be inaugurated, all aimed at enhancing urban infrastructure, public health, education, and social welfare.
