New Delhi, Sep 18 (NationPress) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta officially unveiled three innovative educational curricula: NEEEV (New Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Development Scheme), Science of Living, and Rashtraneeti (National Policy) on Thursday. “This initiative aims to equip students with the necessary skills for the future by blending traditional academic learning with vital life skills and civic responsibilities,” remarked the Delhi CM.
The Chief Minister emphasized that this groundbreaking approach represents a significant evolution in the educational landscape, focusing not only on academic knowledge but also on empowering students with essential life skills, entrepreneurship, emotional intelligence, and a commitment to responsible citizenship.
The launch event took place at Bharat Mandapam and was graced by Education Minister Ashish Sood and senior officials. These curricula have been crafted by the Directorate of Education.
Chief Minister Gupta pointed out that these three curricula will be implemented in all government schools across Delhi, reaching millions of students with the overarching goal of nation-building.
She highlighted that the new programs aim to nurture a business mindset in children from an early age, expose them to artificial intelligence (AI), and prepare them to be skilled and self-sufficient.
The aim, she stressed, is to mold students not just as job-seekers but as future job-creators.
Through the Science of Living curriculum, she noted, children's personalities will be enhanced on multiple levels, fostering sensitivity and compassion towards their communities.
The Chief Minister also mentioned that these curricula have been shared with educators and are integral to the Seva Pakhwada (Fortnight of Service), aligning with the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi.
She assured that the government would not skimp on resources for schools, whether it involves toilets, laboratories, playgrounds, or other essential facilities.
Her focus, she reiterated, is not on constructing grand buildings or flyovers, but rather on developing superior schools and ensuring quality education.
She urged teachers to embrace this educational mission so that Delhi's government schools can set new standards, cultivate capable citizens, and fulfill their critical role in nation-building.
