Bhopal, June 5 (NationPress) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated that 'Divyangjans' (differently-abled individuals) have carved their niche in society through their capabilities, qualifications, determination, and positive attitude.
The Chief Minister remarked: "While one ability may be diminished, many others are amplified in its place. Most notably, their self-confidence provides them with a unique identity."
This statement was made during a program where appointment letters and various benefits were distributed to Divyangjans at the Pandit Khushilal Sharma Ayurveda College in Bhopal.
He referenced renowned figures such as great poet Surdas, Ashtavakra, Sakurat, Swami Rambhadracharya, and distinguished musician Ravindra Jain, emphasizing that these remarkable individuals left a mark on history not through physical perfection, but through significant contributions in their respective fields.
The Chief Minister emphasized that Divyangjans play a vital role in society, and the Madhya Pradesh government is dedicated to promoting and assisting them at every level.
He mentioned that while Divyangjans receive a four percent reservation nationwide, Madhya Pradesh has implemented a six percent reservation for job opportunities.
