New Delhi, May 9 (NationPress) External Affairs Minister (EAM) S. Jaishankar engaged in discussions with various international counterparts, including the US, late Thursday night, emphasizing India's unwavering commitment to counter any escalation attempts by Pakistan.

During his call with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, EAM Jaishankar expressed gratitude for Washington's dedication to collaborate with India in the fight against terrorism.

He highlighted India’s targeted and measured response to cross-border terrorism, asserting, “We will firmly counter any attempts at escalation,” as he shared on X after the discussion.
