New Delhi, March 31 (NationPress) Individuals throughout the nation convened at mosques on Monday to participate in Namaz in celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the festival with immense joy and enthusiasm.
Eid-ul-Fitr is being celebrated across India following the sighting of the Shawwal crescent moon in various states, including Assam, Manipur, Bengal, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, and Delhi. After observing the final fast of Ramadan on Sunday, the celebrations are now in full bloom.

In Sambhal, congregations formed at various mosques while police were stationed nearby to ensure order.
A local noted to IANS, "We performed Eid-ul-Fitr prayers. Just as we celebrated Holi a couple of weeks ago, today we are celebrating Eid. I am elated that everything is proceeding smoothly."
