The water level has surpassed 43 feet at Bhadrachalam, located in Bhadradri Kothagudem district of Telangana, prompting officials to issue this critical flood warning.
Authorities reported that 9.32 lakh cusecs of water are being discharged downstream, prompting alerts for residents in villages along the Godavari's path.
Both the Godavari and Krishna rivers traversing through Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are currently in spate.
