Ahmedabad, June 24 (NationPress) Even amidst challenges and persistent scrutiny, the Adani Group has remained steadfast, asserted Group Chairman Gautam Adani on Tuesday. He emphasized that genuine leadership is not formed in calmness, but rather forged in the crucible of crisis.

“We exist in a realm where negativity often drowns out the truth. While we navigate legal processes, I want to reiterate that our governance meets global standards, and our compliance frameworks are non-negotiable,” remarked the billionaire industrialist during the Adani Enterprises Ltd’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).

On a consolidated basis, the Group witnessed a revenue increase of 7%, with EBITDA rising by 8.2%, and a healthy Net Debt-to-EBITDA ratio at 2.6x. Total revenues reached Rs 2,71,664 crore with an adjusted EBITDA of Rs 89,806 crore.

“Our capital expenditure across sectors is poised to reach new heights. We predict an annual CAPEX of $15-20 billion over the next five years. These investments are not merely for our Group; they aim to contribute to India’s infrastructure,” Gautam Adani stated.

He excitedly discussed several initiatives. “On my 60th birthday, my family committed Rs 60,000 crore to transform healthcare, education, and skill development in India. The Adani Healthcare Temples will be our flagship project—world-class, affordable 1,000-bed facilities in Ahmedabad and Mumbai, featuring medical colleges, research centers, and integrated wellness spaces, all guided by our partner, Mayo Clinic,” he explained.

Simultaneously, the Group is investing Rs 2,000 crore to establish a premier skill university and finishing school in Mundra, aimed at empowering youth throughout India.

“Through our Schools of Excellence, global certifications, and collaborations with leaders like ITEES Singapore and IGCC, we aspire to cultivate an industry-ready workforce,” he noted.

“Let me conclude with our involvement in the Maha Kumbh Mela. Over 650 million individuals united, not as strangers, but as One soul. One purpose. One heartbeat. Together with ISKCON, the Adani Group launched the Mahaprasad Seva, providing free meals to countless devotees. Over 5,000 of our employees volunteered, showcasing the values we uphold,” he underlined.

“At the Triveni Sangam, I had the privilege of performing the sacred Ganga Aarti with my family—being part of this event was one of the most profound days of my life,” added the Adani Group Chairman.

He concluded by stating that a nation’s future is not confined to policy documents; it is defined by the risks its entrepreneurs are willing to embrace. We are not merely laying concrete; we are laying down conviction—creating highways of ambition, ports of hope, and grids illuminating futures.

“History should remember us—not for the size of our balance sheet, but for the strength of our backbone. Not for the markets we entered, but for the storms we weathered and emerged victorious. Leading in sunshine is easy; true leadership is tested in the face of adversity,” he emphasized.
