Ahmedabad, Nov 21 (NationPress) The celebrated Flower Show of Ahmedabad, recognized throughout India and beyond, is poised to make a grand return in January 2026 at the stunning Sabarmati Riverfront.

Held annually by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), this event has evolved into a highly anticipated cultural spectacle in the city.

Preparations are in full swing, with this year’s theme -- “Bharat: Ek Gatha” -- set to highlight India’s rich cultural tapestry through intricate floral arrangements and artistic exhibits.

According to Jayesh Trivedi, Chairperson of AMC’s Recreation, Culture and Heritage Committee, the team is dedicated to bringing the theme to life with top-notch sculptures and creative designs, ensuring the show is both visually stunning and culturally relevant.

In the spirit of a modern and progressive India, the Flower Show will also present floral representations of aeronautics, windmills, solar panels, and other symbols of technological innovation.

Over the last two years, numerous artworks from the event have entered the Guinness Book of World Records, and the AMC aims to unveil new record-breaking creations this time around.

Devang Dani, Chairperson of AMC’s Standing Committee, emphasized the goal of merging creativity with international acclaim. The event's popularity surged after Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited last year’s exhibition.

For the 2026 edition, over 170 sculptures are anticipated, each showcasing India’s diverse cultural identity. Now in its tenth successful year, the Ahmedabad Flower Show has become a beloved annual event, eagerly awaited by locals and visitors alike.

If previous years are any indication, the upcoming show guarantees yet another unforgettable and vibrant experience for all attendees.
