During the launch, DST Secretary P. Bharti emphasized that this initiative, dubbed “National STEM Quiz 4.0: A New Journey for a New Generation,” is designed to foster curiosity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities among school students.
Winners will not only receive cash prizes but also a chance to tour prestigious scientific institutions such as BARC-Mumbai, DRDO, SAC-ISRO, and NFSU-Gandhinagar, along with participation in a specialized STEM boot camp tailored for the top 200 students.
The quiz features two categories: Junior (Class 9–10) and Senior (Class 11–12). Students from all Indian states and boards can register for free at www.stemquiz.gujarat.gov.in until October 30, 2025.
