Anand, Nov 28 (NationPress) The third day of the national Unity March, commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, saw an immense display of patriotic spirit as the procession journeyed from Anklav through nearby villages like Hathipura, Umeta, and various rural areas.

As the march progressed toward Vadodara's Sindhrot, residents gathered along the route, showering flower petals and chanting slogans. The roads resonated with cries of 'Jai Jai Sardar' and 'Vande Mataram', while enthusiastic participants joined in with lively chants of 'My Bharat', 'Viksit Bharat', and 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat'.

The atmosphere along the nearly 13-kilometer stretch was a vibrant mix of culture, devotion, and pride, reflecting the values that Sardar Patel embodied. Central Ministers Mansukh Mandaviya, Sarbananda Sonowal, and Ajay Tamta participated in the march at its inception in Anklav, joined by volunteers from various organizations like Yuva Bharat Abhiyan, NCC, NSS, and scouts and guides. The day commenced with a tree plantation ceremony at Smriti Van, symbolizing a march grounded in national unity and shared responsibility.

Union Minister Mandaviya remarked to the media that the 'Sardar@150: Unity March' was initiated to promote the message of national integration. He stated, 'Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel envisioned an Akhand Bharat, while Prime Minister Modi has dreamed of an Aatmanirbhar and Shreshtha Bharat. This march aims to ensure that this message reaches every citizen.'

Throughout Hathipura, Umeta, and surrounding areas, large crowds convened to welcome the marchers, greeting them with garba performances, patriotic songs, and chants that transformed the route into a festive corridor.

Community groups established stalls providing water, sherbet, buttermilk, and snacks, warmly welcoming participants from across the nation. The march attracted a diverse array of leaders and officials, including Rajya Sabha MP Narhari Amin, Anand MP Mitesh Patel, District Panchayat President Hasmukh Patel, senior officials, and local representatives.

Their presence highlighted the significance of the unity march as an active reaffirmation of national harmony and a shared identity, beyond merely being a symbolic event.

As the procession made its way towards Sindhrot, it left behind a path filled with enthusiasm, cultural pride, and a renewed reminder of Sardar Patel's lasting legacy in uniting the nation.
