Gurugram, March 28 (NationPress) In an innovative move, the Gurugram police plan to implement QR codes across all police stations in the district to gather feedback from visitors, as announced by officials. Vikas Arora, the Gurugram Commissioner of Police, initiated this program on Thursday after personally seeking feedback on police services from the public.
A special event was held at the Sadar police station in Gurugram to launch this groundbreaking feedback system using digital technology.
The Gurugram Police Commissioner participated as the chief guest and inaugurated the program, providing comprehensive insights into this innovative feedback mechanism.
During the launch, he informed attendees that QR codes would be placed in every police station in Gurugram to enhance the effectiveness of police operations.
With this initiative, QR codes will allow individuals visiting police stations to digitally share their ratings and suggestions regarding police services.
Victims, complainants, or any individuals seeking police assistance can convey their feedback on police actions by scanning the QR code, as stated by the police officer.
Upon scanning the QR code at the station, users will access an online page where they can rate their experience with options such as star ratings, their name, mobile number, date of complaint, type of complaint, the name of the concerned officer, their opinions, the cleanliness of the station, staff availability, whether they received help from staff, and if their issues were resolved, the Police Commissioner elaborated.
Following the feedback provided by complainants, the performance and conduct of each police station will be evaluated, allowing the Gurugram Police Commissioner to implement improvements in police operations.
The primary aim of introducing QR codes in police stations is to effectively address public complaints, rectify shortcomings in police practices, and establish a more efficient operational framework, Police Commissioner Arora stated.
Gaurav Rajpurohit, Deputy Commissioner of Police (East); Karan Goyal, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West), Gurugram; along with the relevant Assistant Commissioner of Police, Station House Officers (SHOs), and other police personnel were present at the event.
