Haryana CM Enforces Strict Measures for Public Service Delivery

Gurugram, Dec 12 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Haryana, Nayab Singh Saini, issued stern directives to relevant officials concerning the provision of public services, especially regarding cleanliness, which must be maintained in Gurugram following cleanliness standards.
"The public should not encounter any difficulties. There should be a focused effort on maintaining cleanliness in the city to make Gurugram both clean and aesthetically pleasing. I will personally assess the cleanliness during next month's meeting," CM Saini stated.
During a meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee held in Gurugram, the Chief Minister addressed the attendees.
A total of 23 complaints were reviewed in the meeting, with 19 being resolved immediately.
The remaining complaints are set for discussion in the next meeting, where officers were instructed to present their status reports.
CM Saini reassured that the Haryana government is committed to enhancing public services.
Officials from all departments must remain active in the field to guarantee that their services reach the public, he emphasized.
"The careless approach of officers towards public amenities will not be accepted. Strict measures will be enforced against any officer if complaints arise from the general populace," he stated.
Among those present were Union Minister of State Rao Inderjit Singh, Cabinet Minister Rao Narbir Singh, and MLAs Bimla Chaudhary, Mukesh Sharma, Tejpal Tanwar along with various senior officials and dignitaries.
Addressing the quality of treated water from all sewage treatment plants (STPs), CM Saini asserted that it is vital to routinely check the quality of this water for a healthier environment.
He added that treated water should only be provided to farmers for agricultural use after comprehensive laboratory testing.
In response to a complaint regarding the illegal occupation of government land in Sarai Alawardi village, the Chief Minister directed municipal officials to promptly clear the land of all unlawful occupations.
A community facility should be established on this site to enhance public function arrangements, CM Saini instructed.
Regarding issues with musical fountains and unauthorized advertisements in Laser Valley, the Chief Minister insisted that all concerns surrounding public lighting, CCTV monitoring, and musical fountains be addressed.
Additionally, he tasked MCG Commissioner Ashok Kumar Garg with devising a new framework for placing advertising billboards at unipolar bus stops, ensuring the civic body does not suffer revenue deficiencies.
He also called for tenders for advertising locations.
While discussing a matter concerning 100 square yard plots in Jatauli village, CM Saini reminded all officials of the importance of ensuring that the underprivileged benefit from government schemes at all times.
The Chief Minister was made aware of a situation regarding the closure of a road leading to the temple in Silokhara village.
He ordered an investigation into the actions of the Station House Officer (SHO) in that police jurisdiction and instructed the Police Commissioner to relieve the concerned SHO from duty.
While addressing sewerage issues reported from various areas, the Chief Minister directed officials to develop a sewerage system that meets the demands of the increasing population, ensuring proper water drainage.
When constructing new sewer lines in any locality, he insisted on preparing a revised plan that includes consultations with resident welfare associations and local residents.
