Haryana Minister Criticizes Opposition for Alleged Ties to Soros

Kaithal, Dec 13 (NationPress) Haryana’s Energy and Transport Minister Anil Vij expressed strong disapproval of the Opposition on Friday, asserting that it fails to fulfill its responsible role because of the Gandhi family's connections to George Soros.
“It seems to me that the Opposition is acting in accordance with foreign interests, and it’s likely that these directives are coming from outside,” he stated.
Unruly scenes unfolded in the Lok Sabha after BJP MP Nishikant Dubey made allegations regarding Sonia Gandhi's ties to Soros, prompting Opposition MPs to protest by climbing the Speaker's dais.
When addressing media inquiries following a meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee in Kaithal, he remarked, “The Opposition has never claimed bias from the Vice-President or the Rajya Sabha Chairman, and these assertions appear to be strategically orchestrated.”
Regarding farmer issues, Vij mentioned, “BJP ministers have been in consistent dialogue with farmers. Now that the Supreme Court has constituted a committee to engage with them, that committee is actively interacting with the farmers.”
On the matter of ‘One Nation, One Election’, he stated, “This is a pivotal decision that will propel the country forward. It should have been introduced immediately after Independence, but it was neglected by successive governments. Now, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's nationalist vision, we aim for the country to achieve developed status by 2047.”
He added that due to frequent elections and the enforcement of the model code of conduct, development initiatives are regularly interrupted.
“When the Lok Sabha elections occurred, development work was halted, followed by state assembly elections that further obstructed public projects,” he explained.
In response to whether Congress leader Bhupinder Hooda deserves a place in jail, Vij affirmed: “Absolutely, this is true, as there are ongoing court cases against him. I have reviewed the cases to some extent, and based on my understanding, he is likely to face imprisonment. The timing and location will be determined by the honorable court.”
He emphasized that all complaints raised during the District Grievance Redressal Committee meeting should be addressed. “It is my goal to ensure that people do not have to repeatedly seek justice. I instruct officials that if a complaint is received and no action is taken, this is unacceptable. We must guarantee that justice is served, rather than just scheduling multiple court dates,” he concluded.
