Shimla, May 5 (NationPress) The Himachal Pradesh Cabinet, led by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, has made a significant decision to transition part-time Class IV employees into daily-wager roles. This change applies to those who have completed a continuous service of seven years as of March 31.

Furthermore, it has been resolved to relocate the Wildlife Wing of the Forest Department from Shimla to the CPD KFW Project Office in Dharamsala, located in the Kangra district. The CPD KFW Project office will also move to the former premises of the Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) in Dharamsala.

Additionally, the Cabinet has approved the relocation of the District Jail from Mandi to a newly constructed facility at Nerchowk. The current jail site in Mandi will be repurposed into an Open Jail specifically for female inmates.

To support these transitions, the Cabinet has authorized the creation and filling of various posts.
