Bhopal/Hyderabad, Nov 23 (NationPress) Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced on Saturday that an electric utility firm from Hyderabad is set to initiate green energy projects in Madhya Pradesh. The Chief Minister, while in Hyderabad for discussions with industrial leaders to attract more investments, toured the company's headquarters and engaged with their officials.
In his statement, Chief Minister Yadav revealed that the firm is considering the establishment of extensive green energy initiatives across various regions of Madhya Pradesh.
These initiatives may encompass sophisticated projects such as 100 GWh energy storage facilities, green hydrogen clusters, bio-refineries, and the production of 2G ethanol, methanol, and Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
“This potential partnership between Madhya Pradesh and the Greenko Group marks a significant advancement towards positioning Madhya Pradesh as a national center for green energy production,” the Chief Minister remarked.
During his visit, Yadav, accompanied by senior officials, observed the company’s state-of-the-art technologies, energy-efficient systems, and various renewable energy projects.
He further emphasized that Madhya Pradesh presents vast investment prospects in the field of green energy, with the state government actively working to foster business growth in this sector.
Yadav highlighted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, significant strides are being made in the national green and renewable energy landscape.
“India has carved a unique identity on the global stage concerning green energy production. Madhya Pradesh is on the verge of becoming a leading state in this realm. The contribution of the Greenko Group to green energy initiatives is both exemplary and commendable,” he stated.
Later, while addressing industrialists at a conference in Hyderabad, Yadav remarked, “Whenever I visit a state to invite investors, my goal is not to suggest that industries should close down elsewhere and relocate to Madhya Pradesh.”
The Chief Minister also held individual discussions with industrialists, focusing on investment strategies and upcoming projects across various sectors, including IT, ITES, ESDM, biotech, manufacturing, and MSMEs.
