Jammu, Sep 17 (NationPress) The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) on Wednesday.
A statement released on the same day states that this partnership signifies a notable advancement in promoting excellence in management education, research, training, and professional development.
The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director of IIM Jammu; CMA Navneet Kumar Jain, Council Member of ICMAI; and CMA Dr. Debaprosanna Nandy, Secretary (Officiating) of ICMAI, along with Rajesh Talwar, Director of Finance, Department of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Govt. of Jammu and Kashmir.
The formal signing was conducted by Cmdr. Kesavan Baskkaran (R), Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of IIM Jammu, and CMA Dr. Debaprosanna Nandy in the presence of senior officials from both institutions.
Present at the event were also senior faculty members from IIM Jammu.
This MoU delineates a structure for cooperation between these esteemed institutions, facilitating the joint creation and delivery of Management Development Programmes (MDPs), Specialized Training Programmes, Executive Education, and Faculty Development Programs.
Moreover, it sets the groundwork for knowledge sharing through research collaborations, joint seminars, conferences, workshops, curriculum development, and sharing of academic resources.
