The Zone 7 Local Crime Branch (LCB) successfully uncovered a staggering 15,456 bottles of counterfeit Indian liquor.

Responding to a confidential tip regarding the influx of large quantities of illicit spirits as festivals approach, the Ahmedabad Police, in collaboration with Zone 7 LCB, initiated a focused operation.

The container was discovered concealed within a parking area, leading to the confiscation and subsequent arrest of those involved.

A case has been registered at Changodar Police Station under applicable laws, with investigations currently in progress.

Authorities have notified district officials to coordinate further actions.

This remarkable seizure is part of ongoing efforts to combat the illicit liquor trade, which tends to rise during festive periods.
