How has the might of the Indian Army impacted Rawalpindi?

Lucknow, May 11 (NationPress) Defence Minister Rajnath Singh proclaimed Operation Sindoor as a pivotal moment in India's battle against terrorism, asserting that its repercussions have not only reverberated along Pakistan's borders but have also penetrated deep into its core, including Rawalpindi, the seat of the Pakistani army.

While virtually inaugurating the BrahMos supersonic cruise missile production unit at the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor in Lucknow, Singh asserted, "Operation Sindoor is not merely a military endeavor but a testament to India's political, social, and strategic determination. It has showcased India's strength, resolve, and the capability of our armed forces."

Commending the Indian Army's execution of the operation, he noted, "Before concluding my address, I want to emphasize that the anti-India and terrorist factions that have assaulted the heart of Mother India and devastated countless families have faced justice through Operation Sindoor, and today, the entire nation celebrates the Indian Army."

The Defence Minister underscored that Operation Sindoor was a direct reaction to terrorism, explicitly excluding civilians from its targets.

"We have never aimed at innocent citizens. Yet, Pakistan has persistently targeted India's civilian population and even sacred sites -- temples, Gurudwaras, and churches," he criticized Pakistan for assaulting civilian and religious structures in India.

"The Indian armed forces have demonstrated unparalleled bravery, valor, and restraint. They have delivered a decisive response by targeting Pakistani installations not only at the border but also beyond. The strength of the Indian Army has indeed been felt in Rawalpindi, the very location of the Pakistani Army's headquarters. The ramifications of perpetrating terrorist acts in India have been made evident to the global community," he added.

He also highlighted India's past decisive military actions. "In response to terrorist incidents, our military conducted surgical strikes within Pakistan. Following the Pulwama attack, the world witnessed the Balakot airstrikes. Subsequent to the Pahalgam incident, India executed several strikes across the border once more," Singh remarked.

In strong support of the Modi government's zero-tolerance stance against terrorism, the Defence Minister declared, "Our esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi, steadfast on the path of zero tolerance against terrorism, has clearly articulated that this is a new India, prepared to take impactful actions against terrorism on both sides of the border. Our Prime Minister has communicated this message loud and clear."
