During the meeting, he pointed out that Mizoram's road density is considerably below the national average, indicating that other vital infrastructure sectors also require urgent attention.
The Chief Minister remarked that better infrastructure would not only improve regional connectivity but also bolster cross-border trade with neighboring Asian nations, leading to significant job creation.
He acknowledged Union DoNER Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia for his consistent leadership and proactive approach to furthering development in the northeastern region.
Lalmalsawma Pachuau, Secretary of the Planning and Programme Implementation Department of the state government, presented a report that encapsulated the main points from the initial meeting consultations and inputs from member states.
