What Makes Indore Metro Station a Tribute to Operation Sindoor and Women Warriors?

Bhopal, May 31 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially inaugurated the eagerly awaited Indore Metro on Saturday, a momentous occasion for the Malwa region that aligns with the 300th birth anniversary of the revered queen, Devi Ahilyabai Holkar.

The inaugural ride through the historic land of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar transformed into a jubilant celebration, particularly for the women of the city. As the metro surged forward, women passengers erupted in elation, dancing and chanting slogans as they embraced their first metro experience.

Local citizens shared their joy, snapping selfies and photographs during this landmark journey. Many women participated enthusiastically, shouting patriotic slogans such as "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and marking the dawn of a new chapter in Indore's public transportation.

In a significant tribute that links India’s rich cultural heritage with contemporary valor, a metro station has been named after the nation’s recent anti-terror initiative, Operation Sindoor.

Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava remarked to IANS, "This metro will significantly boost Indore's development. The priority corridor will commence at the Devi Ahilyabai Metro Terminal and include stations honoring women warriors like Rani Avanti Bai and Rani Jhalkari Bai, ending at the Operation Sindoor Metro Station."

Earlier, PM Modi addressed the Lokmata Devi Ahilyabai Mahila Sashaktikaran Maha Sammelan, delivering a strong warning to Pakistan, asserting that any acts of aggression would be met with a more formidable response.

He stated, "Ab goli ka jawab gole se milega" (now we will respond to bullets with shells), emphasizing that Operation Sindoor symbolizes India’s indomitable spirit and bravery, dubbing it the most successful anti-terror operation in the country’s history.

During the ‘Women Empowerment Maha Sammelan’ in Bhopal, celebrating Devi Ahilyabai Holkar’s 300th birth anniversary, PM Modi underlined her vital role in empowering women and preserving Indian culture.

He addressed the recent terror attacks in Pahalgam, characterizing them as assaults on innocent lives and India’s cultural unity, asserting that the terrorists, by challenging the strength of Indian women, had sealed their own fate.

The Prime Minister remarked, "Sindoor has long stood as a symbol of feminine strength, devotion, and sacred duty in Indian tradition."

Referencing Hindu mythology, he noted that even Lord Hanuman’s devotion to Lord Rama is intertwined with the symbolism of sindoor, representing loyalty and sacrifice.

PM Modi applauded the armed forces for the success of Operation Sindoor, highlighting their deep penetration into enemy territory, dismantling terror hubs, and executing justice with precision.

He concluded, "This operation has sent a clear message to the world. India will no longer tolerate proxy wars through terrorism."
