Bengaluru, Sep 15 (NationPress) Union Minister for Food, Public Distribution and Consumer Affairs Pralhad Joshi announced on Monday that, drawing inspiration from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Cabinet Ministers have come to appreciate the contributions of junior staff members and peons who have dedicated years of service.
In a post on social media platform X, Minister Joshi shared a video titled "My Modi Story". He expressed, "Influenced by the continual humility shown by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji towards employees at all tiers, we have also learned to profoundly value their experiences."
"Their perspectives offer fresh, practical insights that enhance our efforts," Joshi remarked.
In his video, Joshi elaborated, "During a Council of Ministers meeting, the Prime Minister advised us by sharing an example of a peon in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) who has served for 30 years; he (PM) engaged him in conversation about his experiences."
"Until that moment, we had not been communicating with our long-serving staff, such as clerks and junior officers, let alone peons; we had neglected to converse with these essential team members," Union Minister Joshi noted.
He continued, "Prime Minister Modi emphasized in our meetings that we should engage with these individuals, as they possess invaluable knowledge to share."
Joshi added, "PM Modi also recounted his interactions with his office boy. Subsequently, we too began reaching out to our office boys and other staff members," he explained.
