Ranchi, Nov 15 (NationPress) To celebrate its 25th anniversary, Jharkhand has inaugurated and laid the groundwork for 1,087 projects totaling Rs 8,799 crore during a significant Statehood Day ceremony held at Morabadi Ground on Saturday.

In attendance were Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar and Chief Minister Hemant Soren, who together launched the initiatives alongside numerous cabinet ministers and public representatives.

During his address, Governor Gangwar reflected on the significance of Jharkhand’s 25th anniversary, describing it as a time for “self-respect, reflection, and self-determination”.

He emphasized that the foundation of the state is built upon the struggles and dreams of figures like Bhagwan Birsa Munda, Sidhu-Kanhu, Nilambar-Pitambar, and Phool-Jhano.

Governor Gangwar also acknowledged the crucial influence of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in establishing Jharkhand, stating his vision was instrumental in achieving statehood.
