Patna, Oct 25 (NationPress) Union MSME Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi has sharply criticized Tejashwi Yadav for his election pledge to secure one government job for every household in Bihar, labeling it as “impractical” and “misleading.”

In a press conference held in Patna following his return from Delhi on Saturday evening, Manjhi stated, “These individuals are making promises that are not grounded in reality; the people of Bihar are well aware.”

As part of his campaign promises, Tejashwi Yadav had declared that if his administration were to take charge, one member from each household would secure a government job.

Yadav also pledged that Jeevika Didis—members of women’s self-help groups—would be regularized with salaries set at Rs 30,000 per month plus Rs 2,000 in additional allowances.

Manjhi went on to say, “Before 2005, during the rule of Tejashwi’s mother, Rabri Devi, and father, Lalu Prasad Yadav, Bihar witnessed little genuine development. The state was rife with fear and instability. If his parents did nothing for Bihar, what can we expect from their son now?”

The Union MSME Minister expressed confidence in the NDA government's re-election, asserting that the populace of Bihar has already made their decisions ahead of the polls on November 14.

In response to RJD MLC Kari Sohaib’s recent comments about nullifying all bills if the RJD assumes power post-November 14, Manjhi quipped, “We could also claim that if our government wins, we will bring the moon to Earth—but is that feasible? The Grand Alliance leaders are making equally unrealistic assertions.”

Regarding Tejashwi Yadav’s claim that two Gujaratis are controlling Bihar, Manjhi dismissed this as mere fantasy.

“Nitish Kumar is at the helm in Bihar. There is no other Chief Minister with greater capability than him. Over the past two decades, he has ensured exceptional governance, enhancing electricity supply, road infrastructure, and law and order,” Manjhi concluded.
