During a press conference held at the Karnataka BJP Office, known as Jagannath Bhavan, he elaborated on the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Youth Startup Award.
Siddiqui emphasized that former President A.P.J. Abdul Kalam remains a significant figure in the hearts of BJP supporters and the citizens of India.
He mentioned that President Kalam dedicated his life to educating the youth, whom he viewed as the future of India. Siddiqui criticized the Congress and other political factions for neglecting President Kalam's legacy, stating that he was a nationalist who advocated for a united and developed India.
He accused these parties of glorifying polarizing figures over genuine national leaders.
According to Siddiqui, the BJP is dedicated to connecting youth with leaders who have exemplified commitment, sacrifice, and discipline for the nation.
He noted that former President Kalam, who came from humble beginnings, rose to the highest office in the country. In his honor, the “Kalam Ko Salaam” initiative is being conducted nationwide to celebrate successful young entrepreneurs. An online application form is available on the BJP and Minority Morcha websites.
Additionally, Siddiqui remarked that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has prioritized the development of Karnataka.
He expressed disappointment regarding Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's absence at the recent inauguration of the Sigandur bridge led by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.
He criticized the Congress for previously conducting a caste census without acting on its results and stated that the current push for a new caste census will likely meet the same fate.
He also pointed out that the caste distinctions among Christians and Muslims are being overlooked in the census.
On the Waqf scam, Siddiqui mentioned that recommendations from Anwar Manippady's report were not enforced, leading to judicial intervention from the Karnataka High Court.
He asserted that the Congress government in Karnataka would not be forgiven for its policies.
On the same day, the BJP Minority Morcha conducted a state-level workshop for the Youth Startup Award at the BJP headquarters in Bengaluru.
