Hyderabad, Sep 21 (NationPress) President of Telangana Jagruthi, K. Kavitha, expressed on Sunday that she would not forgive those who have distanced her from her party.
During the Bathukamma celebrations in her father's hometown, Chintamadaka, located in the Siddipet district, she became emotional.
Kavitha had resigned from the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) earlier this month following her suspension from the party by her father, K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
She voiced her pain regarding the conspiracies against her and pledged to hold accountable those involved.
Claiming that her visits to Siddipet and Chintamadaka were restricted, she expressed feelings akin to entering private property.
In her remarks directed at her cousin and Siddipet MLA, T. Harish Rao, Kavitha made it clear that Chintamadaka does not belong to anyone. She warned that if such restrictions persist, she would return to the village.
Kavitha expressed gratitude to the villagers for inviting her to the Bathukamma festivities. She stated that if they support her, her birthplace could become her ‘karmabhoomi’.
The former MP highlighted that Chintamadaka is a village of historical significance, stating, “A movement began from this soil and created history. KCR initiated the movement for a separate state, culminating in the achievement of Telangana State.”
Without directly naming Harish Rao, she criticized that since the launch of the Telangana movement in 2004, there have been ongoing restrictions regarding her visits to Siddipet or Chintamadaka.
Kavitha alleged that she has been defamed for advocating for her parents' well-being.
On September 3, Kavitha not only resigned from the BRS but also stepped down from her role as MLC, a day after her suspension for alleged anti-party activities.
KCR took this action against his daughter after she publicly criticized her cousins, Harish Rao and Santosh Kumar, attributing to them the corruption allegations against KCR in the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project.
Kavitha has indicated that she will determine her future actions after consulting with her supporters and Telangana Jagruthi members.
