Kerala Parents Now Have the Ability to Track Their Child's Educational Progress in Government Schools
Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 11 (NationPress) Parents can now track their child's educational progress in 12,943 government schools across Kerala from any location.

Thiruvananthapuram, Jan 11 (NationPress) Parents can now track the educational progress of their children enrolled in 12,943 government schools throughout Kerala from anywhere.

The 12,943 state-run schools accommodate 36 lakh children.

This capability has been made possible through the 'Sampoorna Plus' Mobile App, created by Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE), which serves as the technological arm of the Kerala General Education Department, now available to parents.

K. Anvar Sadath, CEO of KITE, mentioned that the Sampoorna Plus App enables parents to effortlessly monitor their child's academic progress.

“Essential cyber security and safety features have been integrated into Sampoorna Plus, in addition to empowering parents to take an active role in their children's education,” stated Sadath.

This app includes functionalities such as student attendance tracking, academic performance assessments, and evaluations of extracurricular activities, benefiting teachers, students, parents, and the wider community.

Sampoorna Plus aids in documenting students' attendance, academic achievements, and progress reports, significantly improving communication between parents and schools. These functionalities are part of both the Sampoorna Online School Management System and the Sampoorna Plus Mobile App.

The official version of the App, named 'Sampoorna Plus', can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store. Upon installation, users should select the 'Parent' role from the available options: 'HM/Teacher/Parent'.

First-time users will need to register using the OTP sent to their mobile number that was registered at the time of their child's admission.

Parents must contact the respective school authorities to ensure their mobile number is accurately updated in the app.

When a parent logs into 'Sampoorna Plus' using their mobile number as the username and their password, they can only access the profiles of the children linked to that mobile number.

Within the profile, parents can view messages from the school, attendance records, mark lists, and more. The app's communication feature facilitates smooth interaction between parents and teachers.

The government order requiring the use of Sampoorna online management software in all schools also mandates the implementation of enhancements to the software.
