Jaipur, Feb 17 (NationPress) A significant operation has led to the arrest of 833 offenders during a two-day ‘Area Domination’ initiative executed across the Kota Range under the leadership of Inspector General of Police (IG) Ravi Dutt Gaur.
An official disclosed that the enforcement actions were conducted by 390 teams consisting of 1,296 police personnel from Kota City, Kota Rural, Baran, Bundi, and Jhalawar districts.
“In total, 1,769 raids were executed, resulting in the apprehension of 833 criminals,” stated a senior official.
This operation was initiated under the guidance of Director General of Police, Rajasthan U.R. Sahu, and Additional Director General of Police, Crime Dinesh M.N., focusing on capturing wanted offenders, individuals with permanent warrants, proclaimed offenders, and suspects involved in ongoing investigations.
The campaign specifically addressed 335 pending BNSS cases across the five districts.
Among those detained were 51 criminals implicated in violations of the Arms Act, NDPS Act, Excise Act, and serious offenses such as murder, attempted murder, robbery, and dacoity.
