Mangaluru (Karnataka), April 29 (NationPress) Senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat has remarked that if we think that merely being in the majority will shield us and that we will face no threats, we are destined for destruction.
This comment was made in light of the Pahalgam terror attack which resulted in the loss of 26 lives.
Speaking to an audience in Mangaluru on Tuesday, Bhat asserted, “We must be empowered, and as a community, we need to enhance our capabilities. If we think that being in the majority will keep us safe, we will be obliterated. That is precisely what transpired in the Pahalgam attack. The victims were shot dead. If just one of them had brandished a weapon against the terrorist, the outcome would have been different.”
He noted that there were many tourists present, but only a handful of terrorists.
Bhat emphasized, “I want to reach out to Hindu women and girls. They carry vanity bags filled with items like makeup and combs. While they should continue to carry these items for their beauty, I urge them to also have a knife.”
“There’s no license needed for a knife up to 6 inches. They should carry one. During nighttime, challenges may arise. If you beg for mercy from an attacker, you are doomed. This only makes them more aggressive,” he explained.
“On the other hand, if you confront the attacker with a knife and challenge him to advance, he will likely hesitate. Most aggressors are cowards. When you lack courage, you become a target,” Bhat stressed.
“Historically, the Hindu community has been passive. Now, there are signs of resistance in some areas. The Hindu community is asserting itself, although it has not yet taken offensive action. What happens if that occurs remains uncertain,” Bhat remarked.
“In this situation, swords should be kept at home, and all women should carry a knife. Don’t assume I’m joking. This is the mindset needed today. Survival is crucial, and mothers must contribute to societal safety. Hindu men should also adopt this mentality, and we must inspire change for the greater good,” he concluded.
