Kumaraswamy Voices Frustration Over Lack of Official Vehicle from Karnataka Government

Mandya, Jan 4 (NationPress) Union Minister for Heavy Industries and Steel H. D. Kumaraswamy on Saturday voiced his dissatisfaction with the Congress-led Karnataka government for breaching protocol by not supplying him with the official vehicle during his visit to the state.
While addressing the media in Mandya, Union Minister Kumaraswamy stated, "The state government has not provided the car until now. In this situation, I am utilizing a vehicle assigned by the Central government. This vehicle was obtained from the Heavy Industries Department."
When questioned about the perceived neglect from the state government, the Union Minister remarked that he was unaware of the situation and suggested that the Congress-led Karnataka government should provide an explanation.
Kumaraswamy, who is also the Karnataka JD(U) chief, is on a two-day visit to the state, and according to protocol, the state government is obligated to furnish him with an official vehicle.
The Union Minister is set to hold a meeting in Mysuru, which is the hometown of Siddaramaiah. Following this meeting, the JD(S) leader plans to engage with party workers.
Sources indicate that local MLA and senior JD(S) leader G.T. Deve Gowda from Mysuru is aligning himself with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, which has displeased Union Minister Kumaraswamy.
Kumaraswamy mentioned on Friday that the Congress would not be successful in 'Operation Hast', a strategy purportedly aimed at eliminating the JD(S) from Karnataka.
"The Congress is scheming to dismantle our party by attempting to entice 12 or 13 MLAs. I am fully aware of these conspiracies. We know what the Congress is planning. Their wrongdoings are accumulating, and divine justice will ultimately catch up with them."
During the state bypolls, Siddaramaiah, State Congress President D. K. Shivakumar, and Union Minister Kumaraswamy engaged in a heated exchange of words.
JD(S) leader Kumaraswamy has accused Shivakumar of orchestrating the distribution of alleged sex CDs and DVDs to politically undermine the family of his father, former Prime Minister H. D. Deve Gowda.
Shivakumar succeeded in breaking the Gowda family's stronghold over community votes in the Assembly election, contributing to the Congress's significant victory.
Nonetheless, the Gowda family made a comeback during the Lok Sabha elections, delivering a setback to the ruling Congress, which had anticipated winning a majority of the seats. Shivakumar's brother, D. K. Suresh, experienced a humiliating defeat in the polls.
The Congress gained an advantage by defeating Union Minister Kumaraswamy's son, Nikhil Kumaraswamy, in the Channapatna Assembly bypolls.
