Patna, Sep 24 (NationPress) As the Bihar Assembly elections approach, internal conflicts within the Lalu Prasad Yadav family are intensifying. Following Tej Pratap Yadav’s previous remarks, Rohini Acharya, daughter of Lalu Prasad, has adopted a defiant approach, taking to social media to express her dissatisfaction and present a daring challenge to her detractors.

In a powerful statement on X, Rohini declared, “I publicly challenge all those harboring malicious thoughts and those who support such individuals. If anyone can demonstrate that I have ever solicited anything for myself or another, and that the assertion that I donated my kidney to my esteemed father is false, then I will withdraw from political and public life.”

She went on to demand that anyone perpetuating falsehoods must issue a public apology if their claims cannot be verified.

“If those making allegations cannot substantiate their accusations, they should muster the courage to publicly apologize to me and every mother, sister, and daughter in the nation… and vow never to disseminate such untruths again,” she emphasized.

In a development that has sparked speculation regarding her political ambitions, Rohini has recently unfollowed all political figures and family members on social media.

She currently follows just three accounts: her spouse Shamsher Singh, poet Rahat Indori, and a media outlet—none of whom are linked to politics.

Insiders suggest this could indicate her desire to distance herself from political involvement, with some even conjecturing that she may resign from her party.

The discord began during the Bihar Adhikar Yatra when Sanjay Yadav, a close associate of former Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav, was observed occupying the front seat of a campaign bus—traditionally meant for top leaders.

Rohini subtly pointed out the incident by sharing a comment about it on social media, without adding her thoughts.

Despite the escalating tensions, no action was taken against Sanjay Yadav.

Later, in an effort to alleviate the situation, Rohini posted about two leaders, emphasizing that the primary aim of Lalu Yadav’s campaign for socio-economic justice was to uplift the most marginalized communities.

While Rohini has unlocked her social media accounts, her actions and ambiguous statements suggest a growing detachment from active politics, introducing a new layer of uncertainty to the already divided RJD leadership as the critical 2025 elections draw near.
