Lessons in Overcoming Challenges from PM Modi, Says Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister

Bhopal, Dec 19 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, expressed on Wednesday that the skill of excelling even in tough situations can be derived from the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

This statement was made during an event at T. T. Nagar Stadium aimed at nurturing sports talent among the youth in the region.

He assured that athletes will receive comprehensive support from the state government.

Chief Minister Yadav mentioned that sports have been integrated into the curriculum under the New Education Policy, highlighting its importance in academic growth.

In a recent post on the social media platform X, CM Yadav stated: "Today, at the TT Nagar Stadium in Bhopal, I inaugurated the 'Ceremony for Honouring and Encouraging Sports Talents' organized on the occasion of Jan Kalyan Parv and wished the players a bright future."

He further added: "Our players are the pride of our heartland who are continuously elevating the reputation of India and Madhya Pradesh on the global stage. It is essential for Madhya Pradesh to foster such sports talents, and the government aims to provide all necessary facilities related to sports within the state."

"During the program, players who excelled at the state, national, and international levels were recognized with honorarium and sports kits. Cabinet Minister Vishvas Sarang Ji and Mayor Malti Rai Ji were also present at the event along with other dignitaries."

Additionally, he noted that career advancement opportunities have been established for sports teachers, allowing them to achieve promotions comparable to assistant professors and higher roles in higher education.

"Today, our nation is emerging as a formidable power under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The skill of our players is becoming more prominent, as we set new records and earn medals in various sports," he remarked.

He emphasized that there has never been a lack of talent among the players in the state.

"Even when resources were scarce, talented athletes like Major Dhyan Chand brought home gold medals for the nation while playing barefoot," the CM noted.

State Sports Minister Vishvas Sarang mentioned that the state government has approved a plan to establish a sports complex in every Assembly constituency, which will be announced shortly.

During the event organized by the Sports Department of the Madhya Pradesh government, gold medalists from state-level competitions were honored.

The players from the medal-winning hockey team of the 2024 Paris Olympics signed a hockey stick which was presented to CM Yadav.
