Notable achievements of the Zone include integrating the Northeast region into the India–ASEAN Vision for Trade and Cooperation, as well as advocating for expedited infrastructure projects, establishing improved trading outposts, and promoting cultural exchanges.
The zone is also dedicated to refining parliamentary processes, making them more accessible and inclusive through increased technological engagement, such as the implementation of the National eVidhan Application (NeVA), the digital transformation of legislative procedures, and active public involvement, as stated by the official.
