Bhopal, March 2 (NationPress) Following the successful completion of the Regional Industry Conclaves (RIC) and the Global Investment Summit (GIS), the Madhya Pradesh government is gearing up to host a series of industry conclaves, announced Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Sunday.
According to Chief Minister Yadav, the government aims to conduct a total of 10 industry conclaves across various regions of the state, taking into account the available resources and the potential each area holds.
The first of these conclaves will take place in Indore, focusing on sectors such as IT, semiconductors, and AI. Following that, another conclave will be hosted in Ujjain, which will concentrate on tourism (especially religious tourism) and food processing. Additional industry conclaves will be arranged in other locations throughout the state as well.
During a dialogue with industrialists regarding the industrial progression of Katni district on Sunday, Yadav emphasized that enhancing industry and investment in Katni will pave the way for new employment opportunities and economic advancement.
“Katni has significant potential for industrial investment. A Mineral, Mining, and Food Processing Industry Conclave will be organized in Katni soon, as Madhya Pradesh offers a favorable landscape for industrial investments,” he added.
Yadav further declared that the year 2025 has been designated as the 'Year of Industry and Employment', aiming to foster industrial development in the state through a mission-driven approach.
CM Yadav highlighted that Katni possesses vast opportunities for industrialization in areas such as mining, minerals, food processing, lime, and marble industries.
He reiterated the government’s commitment to collaborating with all societal sectors for comprehensive development, stating that with strategic initiatives, the state is transitioning into a new phase of industrial expansion.
During the engaging session with industrialists, the Chief Minister instructed Jabalpur Division Commissioner Abhay Verma and Katni Collector Dilip Kumar Yadav to ensure that all 18 government policies and available benefits concerning industrial establishments are effectively conveyed to business owners.
Notably, the two-day Global Investment Summit (GIS) took place on February 24-25 in Bhopal. Prior to this, the state government organized a total of seven Regional Industry Conclaves (RIC) from March 2024 to January 2025.
