Mumbai, Feb 12 (NationPress) Maharashtra's Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis declared on Wednesday the launch of Mumbai Tech Week—the largest AI festival in Asia—while promising the ongoing support of the state government. He held discussions with the Tech Entrepreneurs Association of Mumbai (TEAM), emphasizing that this upcoming event will cement Mumbai's reputation as the ‘AI Sandbox of Asia'.

Scheduled from February 24 to March 1, this event is designed to enhance Mumbai's status as a center for AI and technological advancements.

In a post on X, Fadnavis stated: "MumbAI is poised to welcome a transformative mega event where industry leaders, tech innovators, media giants, and sports visionaries will gather to reshape the AI domain. This is more than just an event; it’s a revolution! Join us to witness innovation and be part of the AI movement."

He formally extended an invitation to everyone for MTW 2025 through a video message, highlighting the government's commitment to collaborating with TEAM. Fadnavis commended TEAM for its contributions to Mumbai's technology ecosystem, noting their impressive growth, which now encompasses over 65 founders of prominent startups and unicorns, with a total valuation exceeding $60 billion, and a community that surpasses 10,000 members.
