The Education Department has provided directives to schools under the state education boards to implement the CBSE curriculum, as stated by the Minister during the Legislative Council session.

He was responding to inquiries from BJP legislator Prasad Lad, who questioned whether the Steering Committee had endorsed the CBSE curriculum plan, particularly in light of the ongoing implementation of the National Education Policy for grades 3 to 12 in the state.

In this review, he expressed optimism at the meeting of the School Education Department that Maharashtra would regain its prominence in school education.

The Chief Minister instructed that the Education Department should undertake measures to ensure quality education.

He also directed the School Education Department to adopt the CBSE framework in state government schools with necessary adjustments.
