In an interview with IANS, Sanjay Dhavlikar from Maharashtra, the lead decorator for the Ram Mandir, expressed, “I have been entrusted with the decoration of the temple, which includes the floral designs at the main entrance and throughout the area. We've designed rangolis and managed the lighting within the temple as well. Additionally, we adorned the path for Prime Minister Modi’s arrival with various themes. The Prime Minister's visit for the sacred flag hoisting adds immense significance as we witness the completion of a temple that has been built after years of struggle.”
Shreedhar Gaekwad from Pune, who was responsible for the brass railings and bells, stated, “We have meticulously crafted all the brass railings and bells for the Ram Mandir. I feel privileged to have played a part in the establishment of the Ayodhya temple, and I believe that Lord Ram guided us in completing this crucial task.”
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi is slated to arrive in Ayodhya for this ceremonial event, expected at around 9:30 a.m.
The specially crafted flag for the temple measures 22 feet by 11 feet, symbolizing the conclusion of the temple's construction. Designed by a parachute specialist from Ahmedabad, it weighs between two and three kilograms and is tailored for the 161-foot-high pinnacle and 42-foot flagpole. This flag will bear the Sun symbol, representing Lord Rama’s Suryavanshi lineage and divine energy.
However, attendees of the ceremony will not be allowed to bring mobile phones inside the temple grounds.
